Would stay here again

The room was pretty basic but comfortable, with a nice bed and decent air conditioning. The bathroom had good water pressure and included a shower. The outdoor swimming pool was a nice spot to relax. Having a microwave and refrigerator in the room was super handy. It’s loud at night, typical for the boardwalk area.

The beach was just a short walk away. We enjoyed some dancing at nearby bars. The staff was friendly, and having a fridge and microwave was super handy for our snacks.

However, we experienced some maintenance issues, like a rusty shower handle and a toilet that required manual flushing, which was inconvenient.

Unfortunately, the room cleanliness left much to be desired. I found cigarette butts and trash on the balcony, along with sand on the floors. The carpets in common areas looked filthy, and the bathroom facilities were in need of serious attention, with mold present. Despite being in a prime location, the hotel atmosphere felt chaotic with noise from the halls and disturbances during the night due to rowdy guests. Parking is a couple of blocks away, which could be a hassle for some. A lack of maintenance and cleanliness really detracted from the experience overall.

The room was definitely not what I expected. The mattress had an awful smell, and it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. There was dirt and hair everywhere, and the shower was just gross. No towels were provided, which was really frustrating. I felt like we could've gotten sick just from sleeping there. I loved how we were just a few steps away from the boardwalk, which made evening strolls to enjoy the live music a highlight of my weekend getaway, and with the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum only 0.5 km away, it was easy to explore local culture and history without needing a car.
